Dr. Kelli Ward is currently running a primary campaign to unseat John McCain and represent Arizona in the United States Senate.

John McCain was educated at the US Naval Academy graduating in 1958, he then served in the Navy retiring in 1981 at the rank of Captain. The following year he was elected into the United States House of Representatives representing Arizona’s 1st District. In 1986 he ran for and was elected to the United States Senate a position that he still holds today.

Dr. Kelli Ward is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. In 2012 she was elected to the Arizona State Senate representing the fifth legislative district as a member of the Republican Party. July 14th, 2015 she announced that she would be running against John McCain. Kelli Ward resigned from the State Senate on December 2, 2015 in order to concentrate on her Senate run.

This past Saturday on his show on TheBlaze Radio Network host Chris Salcedo interviewed Dr. Ward. That interview can be heard below starting at the 22:30 mark.

  1. Thanks for the heads up about the interview. Somehow I missed it. I’m concerned that FreedomWorks is unaware of her or ignoring her as they investigate David Schweikert as a possible candidate. I like David, too. Two good conservative candidates could split the vote, and McCain ends up back in.

    • I think/hope that won’t happen. From what I’ve seen from afar is that Kelli Ward has the most momentum. Hopefully FreedomWorks sees this as a good chance to get rid of this dinosaur and won’t mess it up by splitting the vote. Of course this is coming from a guy half a country away.

      • They sent me an email asking to donate to a fund to support Schweikert. I emailed back with my concerns. I like David S. He’s been a good US Rep. I haven’t heard anything since.
