I recently came across this headline from the Washington Post: Koch-linked group launches pro-weed campaign for North Carolina Libertarian candidate.
It turns out the ads were from a group called American Future Fund, a tax-exempt group sponsored by Charles and David Koch and other conservative donors.
The first question that comes to mind is why the Washington Post suddenly cares about about a candidate in the Senate race from North Carolina who has zero chance of winning the election. What really caught my attention was the fact that they felt the need to point out that it was a “Koch-linked group?” Therein lies the way the Democratic Party has been able to control the media narrative. Many rightfully condemned and questioned Harry Reid’s obsession with the Koch Brother’s, mentioning them numerous times on the Senate floor. However, he and others were able to get the media to put it in the public mind that David and Charles Koch are evil personified, ignoring all the charitable contributions that the brothers have made.
This being their MO, have you ever read an article that involves Gun Control that doesn’t mention the NRA in a bad way? It’s all part of Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals in this case it’s rule #12: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” How they continue to get away with this all goes back to how the mindset of the Washington/New York elite operates: They all live in a bubble far away from real Americans and they are also augmented by the Hollywood types leading to many in the public to accept what they say without thought.
There is hope that the people are starting to wake up; many of the millennials are starting to regret their loss of freedom, and when they realize that the full effects of ObamaCare and how it unduly punishes them with exploding premiums for a minimum of care, it’s only going to get worse, also some in the black community are seeing that unemployment and poverty have only gotten worse since Obama was elected in 2008. The “war on women” is now being exposed as the joke that it is, when it was recently brought up in a debate it drew jeers and condemnation; Can anyone really take seriously the ad that Cory Gardner, in Colorado, was able to ban birth control all by himself?
I continue to hope that the agenda of the Progressives/Socialists will be fully exposed as the destructive plan for freedom that it truly stands for and America will restore its status as “the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.”
