Chris Salcedo, in addition to his national radio show, broadcast on Saturday’s on TheBlaze.com/Radio, from noon to 3pm eastern, is also the drive time host on Houston’s KSEV radio. Chris has spent over two decades in TV and radio news and is the Executive Director of the Conservative Hispanic Society.

On his Saturday show, linked above, he gave a very passionate monologue of the President’s Executive Order regarding halting of deportations of a segment of illegal immigrants. The monologue included Mr. Obama’s inadvertent admission that he was overriding what had been his Constitutional authority. After being heckled, while giving a speech on immigration in Chicago, the President went off the teleprompter and said “what you’re not paying attention to is, I just took an action to change the law.” What he seems to fail to understand (or want the massed to understand) is that, as the head of the Executive Branch of the United States government, he has no Constitutional power to unilaterally change the law. The relevant exchange can be seen here:  http://www.cnn.com/2014/11/25/politics/obama-hecklers-immigration-chicago/

I would encourage all to take a few minutes and listen how to a person who happens to be of Hispanic descent and is in the country legally, feels about the President’s ruling.
