South Carolina has removed the Confederate Flag from its Capital, Dukes of Hazzard is now off of TV Land and all images of the Confederacy are now under attack as we try to paint over history following Dylann Roof’s murderous rampage at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina, killing nine totally innocent citizens who were at a bible study. If we’re going to attack all these perceived symbols of racism why don’t we turn our attention to a true symbol and institution of racism; that being Planned Parenthood.
My personal opinion on whether or not South Carolina takes down the flag at their state capital is that ‘I don’t care,’ that was totally up to the citizens and the Legislature of the state to decide, however the removal of the flag pole is a whole other question. The bottom line is that removing the flag, taking the Dukes of Hazzard off of TV Land, etc. accomplishes nothing.
For more thoughts on this I recommend Mary Ramirez’s latest column, “Removing the Confederate Flag Will Not End Racism. It Will End Free Speech,” in The Blaze.
Another column I was would recommend is John Hawkins “The Fight Over the Confederate Flag Has Turned Into a Hateful Smear Campaign Against Millions of Southerners” at Townhall.com.
I want to focus on what is the most racist organization of all time in America and that is Planned Parenthood, which is by far the biggest abortion mill now in existence.
Planned Parenthood’s beginnings goes back to October 1916 with the formation of the first birth control clinic in Brooklyn founded by Margaret Sanger, along with her sister Ethyl Byrne and Fania Mindell. These actions evolved in the formation of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, or as it’s more commonly called ‘Planned Parenthood.’ Margaret Sanger was a eugenicist and an extreme racist. Rather than making my case for this I will share a series of her quotes:
“We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population. And the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”
“Today eugenics is suggested by the most diverse minds as the most adequate and thorough avenue to the solution of racial, political and social problems. I think you must agree… that the campaign for birth control is not merely of eugenic value, but is practically identical with the final aims of eugenics… Birth control propaganda is thus the entering wedge for the eugenic educator.”
“Our failure to segregate morons who are increasing and multiplying… demonstrates our foolhardy and extravagant sentimentalism…”
“Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race.”
Margaret Sanger is a woman who is revered by presidential candidate Hillary Clinton who had this to say after accepting Planned Parenthood’s top honor, the Margaret Sanger Award, in 2009: “I admire Margaret Sanger enormously. Her courage, her tenacity, her vision. When I think about what she did all those years ago in Brooklyn, I am really in awe of her. And there are a lot of lessons we that can learn from her life and the cause she launched and fought for and sacrificed so greatly.”
Many will offer the ‘yeah, but’ argument that “we understand, but it’s not what Planned Parenthood is about today.” On that I beg to differ.
Today the impact of Planned Parenthood has an outsized effect on the minority community. on page 20 of PP’s annual report for 2013-2014 shows that they murd.., oh excuse me, preformed 327,653 abortion for that year alone.
This article points out that “According to the Alan Guttmacher Institute, black women are more than 5 times as likely as white women to have an abortion.”
Granted this graph is a few years old but it shows that blacks account for 37% of all abortions, while, from the 2010 census, blacks make up 13.6% of the total population.
Another report shows that in 2012, in New York City, 31,327 black babies were killed by abortion doctors compared to 24,758 actual births of black babies.
Another example comes from Philadelphia abortion “doctor” Kermit Gosnell, while not associated with Planned Parenthood, his practice was so atrocious that he is now serving a sentence of life without parole for what went out at his abortion clinic. Gosnell has been accused of targeting minority communities. His actions were so infamous that he has inspired the movie “America’s Biggest Serial Killer” now in production.
While I was in the process of writing this article the video came to light showing that Planned Parenthood’s Senior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, was caught on tape discussing the best way to perform an abortion to bring the best value for the baby’s organs and limbs. You can see the full video below. Content warning, if you love babies this video will be very difficult to watch.
Thanks to Roe vs. Wade, at this point, we can’t outlaw abortion, yet, at the very least it is now time that our federal government stops funding Planned Parenthood to the tune of $500 Million per year not to mention their state subsidies.
As a final word if you want to understand the true motives of Planned Parenthood I suggest that you check out the book and the movie both by the name of “Unplanned: The Dramatic True Story of a Former Planned Parenthood Leader’s Eye-Opening Journey across the Life Line” from Abby Johnson a former clinic director at the Planned Parenthood clinic in Bryan, Texas.
